Hi! My name is Justin Ferko (he/they) Ed.M., MTS. I am a Spiritual Companion, Certified Forest Bathing Guide with the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy, Supervisor and Educator of Spiritual Companions serving as Dean of Year Two of Spiritual Direction for Spiritual Guides at Oasis Ministries (Contemplative Progressive Christian) and as a Member of the Teaching Team for The Spiritual Companioning Internship at The Spiritual Life Center of West Hartford, Connecticut (Interfaith/Interspiritual) and Professional Chaplain.

My practice of spiritual companioning is contemplative and interspiritual grounded in relationship with the Earth and the sacredness of LGBTQIA+ identities. I draw on poetry, Joanna Macy’s The Work that Reconnects, dreamwork, imagination and compassion practices to support Seekers on their paths. I provide individual and group spiritual companioning, supervision for spiritual companions and forest bathing walks (in-person and remotely) .
